Meet Beth
Attorney Beth M. Nussbaum works with clients to craft family law solutions privately and without escalation of conflict as a highly experienced mediator and certified collaborative attorney. In addition, Attorney Nussbaum provides negotiation-focused representation to clients wishing to avoid litigation and to clients in matters before the Probate and Family Court. Attorney Nussbaum also appears before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and has appeared before the Supreme Judicial Court as appellate counsel of record in numerous published and unpublished decisions dealing with child welfare and family law issues.
Attorney Nussbaum earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.M. from the Juilliard School in violin performance. Prior employment: Smith Lee Nebenzahl LLP, Senior Associate; mentor member of the CPCS-Children and Family Law Appellate Panel, Lurie and Krupp LLP, Associate; Seiller and Handmaker, Associate; CPCS post-conviction panel, Boston College Law School. Before she became an attorney, Attorney Nussbaum had a previous career as a professional violinist, performing with orchestras such as the Boston Ballet, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Huntsville Symphony, and Alabama Symphony.

Attorney Nussbaum lives in Sharon, Massachusetts. In addition to her law practice, she plays chamber music throughout the Boston area for fun. She also enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, cooking, word games, and spending time with family and friends.
